I can say with almost absolute certainty that there are only 3 enemies that trigger the cutscene to unlock Louie when killed. All 3 are dwarf bulborbs, namely, the red, snow, and orange ones. I show that dwarf bulbears do NOT trigger the cutscene, and I have my own explanation for why in the video. EDIT: Water dumples also unlock Louie when killed.
I also show what happens if a couple of the cutscenes are activated in different maps. The cutscene that unlocks Louie takes place in some strange locations, and Louie's eyes are as beautiful as ever when I approach the red Onion with him, especially since they are at different angles in different maps (though I didn't get to try it in Wistful Wild. Speaking of which, I will probably try to do these cutscenes with the President in the future, just cuz).
I look into the possibility of being Louie when I get the cutscene that normally unlocks Louie, then switching to Olimar. However, this was busted by the fact that Olimar seems to exit the caves first for some reason.
Lastly, I show off that this cutscene is on a timer, meaning that we can do Cutscene Timer Storage on it (though I've mentioned that before).

I have no idea what happened at the very end. I had lost some blue Pikmin to the Spotty Bulbear as well as Louie, and when I reached Submerged Castle, no cutscene activated. I approached Glutton's Kitchen afterward, but its cutscene didn't activate either. Neither cave had been approached on this file before.
