This German documentary by Reiner E. Moritz explores the history and development of the famous international chamber music festival in Kuhmo, Finland, which was founded in 1970 by cellist Seppo Kimanen. The film features interview segments with Kimanen and other personalities linked to the festival, taking the viewer behind the scenes of the event - where young and renowned musicians rehearse, perform and enjoy the atmosphere of Kuhmo. Featuring Lisa Batiashvili, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Sonia Wieder-Atherton and Akemi Mercer-Niewöhner, Natalja Grigorjewna Gutman, Trio Arbos, Borodin Quartett, The Harp Consort, New Helsinki Orchestra, Önder Duo and others.
