Whenever the weather is bad the kayaking outfitter gives the option of taking the more protected Grand Isle Kayaking Tour. Although the cliffs are not as big in this section, the tour is a nice change of pace from all the activity of the main cliffs. This trip for my granddaughter and myself was especially fun for us as we had footage from a trip of us doing it 6 years ago. It was neat to compare our trips from today and 6 years ago.
