I did a video back in the Fall of this area on the edge of Elizabethtown, Kentucky before the big earth movers got started. We were told by the city officials that they would try to keep a lot of the trees. Unfortunately most of the trees in this area are now gone. The city has big plans for a 10,000 seat open air event space in this area mixed in with trees and trails. Also had 3 of 4 geocaches in the area that were destroyed, one of them being the oldest cache placements I had. I will keep an eye on the progress over the year and a half of construction.
