Project Phoenix Media | PicoMemcard+ - Cheap DIY PS1 Memory Card With Infinite Saves Overview (2024, English) @ProjectPhoenixMedia | Uploaded February 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
In today's video I go over the PicoMemcard+ which is a DIY mod where you can make your own PS1 memory card with infinite saves when coupled with a microsd adapter.
In my case, I'm using a raspberry pi pico with a pcb board to make the install a little bit cleaner, as opposed to cutting up an old PS1 memory card and putting it altogether. I 3d printed a case as well as got a microsd spi adapter interface so I can use microsd storage to save an "infinite" amount of ps1 memory cards.
The github has a lot of great info on how to source the parts and make your own. I have a few left over pcbs and pi pico's, so if someone is interested, send me a message at vstpower at gmail.com, thanks!
