Today's tutorial shows you how to make a backup (dump) your PS4 disc games that can run on 5.05 firmware or lower from the PS4, and then ultimately to your EXFAT USB device.
Once the files are on the USB device, then we will be using two Windows programs to create the fpkg file which will then allow us to install the backup game as a .pkg to the PS4 and then have a lot of good times!
Note:
1) USB device needs to be EXFAT format. Update your Windows operating system to latest version and/or use third party programs to achieve this.
2) Disable power saving feature on the PS4 so the ripping process is not interrupted by accident.
3) Make sure there is more than enough free space on the PS4 to allow dumping process to go smoothly.
4) Run the disc game once to allow it to install all necessary game files to internal hard drive, and then follow through with the dumping process as shown in the video.
5) While the game is dumping, do NOT do anything. Let the PS4 do its thing, otherwise you can inadvertently delay the process!

![[How To] Play Tekken Tag Tournament Using OPL PS2 SMB Tutorial (2018)
Todays tutorial I will show you how to play the CD version of Tekken Tag Tournament on a softmodded PS2 that is using FMCB and OPL to load the game over SMB/network.
The game does not work with USB, so you need to do either SMB or internal hard drive for fat PS2.
Todays tutorial will be focusing strictly on the SMB method. Enjoy!

In todays tutorial I will be showcasing how I go about using Codebreaker, OPL, and SMB all with using FMCB on my PS2 slim. Both OPL and Codebreaker are run off the memory card, and my PS2 games are shared from a USB flash drive connected to my TP Link nano travel router.
This is a cool way to play your SMB shared PS2 games with cheats.
Of course, if you want to do it with ps2rd or Cheat Device, I expect the process to be similar. Enjoy!

![Play PS1 Games From Fat PS2 Internal Hard Drive Using Popstarter and OPL Tutorial (2019)
Todays tutorial showcases the latest and easiest way of playing PS1 games from fat PS2 internal hard drive using Popstarter emulator, OPL, and FMCB or similar. This is a newer process and replaces any older internal hard drive method video recorded in the past.
See links below for all the goodies that you need.
Note: Use google to find POPS.ELF and IOPRP252.IMG needed for this tutorial.
Internal hard drive path structure is as follows:
hdd0: common/POPS/POPS.ELF
hdd0: common/POPS/IOPRP252.IMG
hdd0: .POPS/SLES_123.45.Game.VCD
hdd0:+OPL/POPS/POPSTARTER.ELF
See tips below from user dapperfan44:
FINALLY figured it out, the problem was the IOPRP252 IMG file had a lowercase extension. I had to capitalize the extension for it to work. @Project Phoenix Media would you mind adding that to the description? This way more people dont get tripped up like I did. I couldnt for the life of me figure out what was wrong until I saw that the .IMG extension on your screen was capitalized while mine was not.
Heres something else thats important for people to know. It doesnt show in this video and I assume your tv doesnt struggle with that resolution, but modern HDTVs dont support the native resolution of PS1 games over component cables because its too low. Create a file that is called exactly CHEATS.TXT and then paste inside it $HDTVFIX without the quotation marks. Put this file into the folder that your game creates for the virtual memory cards in the common/POPS/SCUS_123.45.Game Name folder. And you dont need to, but I recommend adding $SMOOTH to the CHEATS.TXT file so that the PS1 emulator automatically uses the smoothing option for the game.
And, you dont need to start each game in order to make the folder. After you make your SCUS_123.45.Game Name.VCD file, just create the folder named exactly the same thing as the folder. You can put the Cheats file in that folder, and other folders like it, then copy the folders in to the common/POPS folder. The PS1 games will load right away over the component cable, and you dont need to change to your composite cable any more.

![[How To] Play Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy With OPL (Internal HDD and SMB Method)
Recently, someone said does this game work with OPL and USB? The answer is no. Do we then give up? No. In todays video, I will show you how to use a fat ps2 to play the game via internal hard drive, or you can also play it via SMB/Ethernet as well using a fat or slim PS2.
The trick comes down to using the proper modes in OPL! This is the first time I ever had to do that.
Short answer is use modes 1, 3, and 6 for internal hard drive or SMB method, and your game should work. It did for me. Enjoy!

Todays tutorial I wanted to take another approach and explain in simpler terms how to setup your Windows 10 PC properly to share your PS2 games to your PS2 that is running OPL 0.9.3. In my setup, Im using Windows 10 64 bit with a network switch to connect my PC to my PS2.
The beauty behind this method is it helps games run smoother, and of course, you save your PS2 laser!
This topic really isnt that complicated, and I hope todays video takes the mystery out of this. Enjoy!
