The Pickett Fire is burning north of Calistoga, California, in Napa County, to the east of Highway 29. This fire is burning in the 2020 Glass Fire scar. The fire has been slowly waking up, throughout the day. As of about 4:30pm, the smoke inversion that was suppressing fire behavior for most of the day had pretty much cleared out, and the fire has made some runs since then. 6:45pm, 8/22/2025
