Social media contest winner, Yuhe Lu shares his experience with the Mannes School of Music at @newschoolperformingarts
"The Mannes School promotes creativity and new thoughts which follows along with the idea of the new school. Therefore, being here is so fun! Mannes highly promotes new music which is different from other music conservatory which mainly focuses only on traditional classical repertoires. It form a very open space for the massive collection of musics that weren’t played in big stages because they weren’t recognized as common repertoires."
