#PhysiotherapyTrainingVideo #SingleLegSquat
This is the bread and butter exercise of strength and conditioning coaches and we have included it here as it is a great overall body exercise. It is a great exercise when trying to build overall lower limb strength after a leg injury or lower limb surgery. It primarily works the quadripces, or thigh muscles, however there is probably not a single muscle in your body that is not being worked during the squat. In this video, we have tried to include the most important points to consider in order to perform this exercise safely. Make sure to go light until you're confident you're maintaining good form. When first starrting out it will be useful to perform this in the mirror to check your alignment. There is no squat rack in this vidoe however normally the bar would start on a rack.
