In case you care, I beat this on a bug-fix copy made BY HAUNTER, so if you disagree with how the creator of the level decided to fix the bugs that weren't around when it released, then I don't know what to tell you.
I remember seeing when this level first got rated. Back in that time period it was such a big deal to see someone I knew get their level rated, especially an extreme demon. So of course ever since it came out I thought it would be cool to beat it, but didn't think I would be able to at the time. I was overestimating the level a lot back then though, and for sure could have beaten it, but it's fine because I beat it today.
Also when this first came out, I was a massive fan of the visual work and looked up to levels like this, but with the years adding up and me being a better creator now than I was, I have some things to say about it. The main thing is just the lack of movements with the blocks. In the first part you actually see a lot of movement with all the blocks, and partially because of that I think it's definitely the best looking part of the level (I also like the colors/block design a lot, the whole predrop aged really well in all respects imo). I think the drop parts/ending would have benefited visually from a similar block movement style to the predrop, but I'm sure it would have made the timings feel a little more awkward or something. Either way, that is my main note, and maybe the ground spikes at the second drop section could have the spinning designs be a little brighter but that's just me.
The gameplay is a home run, it's very consistent, fun and unique. Some clicks here and there were a bit awkward but as a whole it flowed very well and never got frustrating. All the frustration I had was just learning the level, because I'm not too used to learning gameplay like this. Either way though I would recommend this to anyone good enough to beat it, as long as you can make/find a bug-fixed copy of the level to fix 77% randomly killing you.
