Route K, which runs from Ridge Avenue to Arrott Transit Center, is the last "letter bus" operated by SEPTA. The original buses in Philadelphia were all designated by letters, but recently, all letters have been replaced by numbers. The K will one day disappear as well, so it's the perfect time to learn about this transit oddity.
