Homelessness is a virulent social ill which, having persisted for many decades, seems to be well-nigh incurable. Also, readers will find it useful to note the changes resulting from the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, now finally on the statute book, which prioritizes the survivors of domestic abuse and introduces, for example, the duties of local authorities to develop a domestic abuse strategy.
As you may assume, the multiplicity of developments which have evolved during the pandemic are covered in detail, including the changes to both the English and Welsh Codes of Guidance which, due to the pandemic, have been updated to April 2021.
Presented in handy paperback format, the book continues to excel as a reliable and authoritative work of reference for any professional dealing with this perpetually sensitive subject. Note, for example, the more than 100 pages of tables: of cases, statutes, statutory instruments, legislation international conventions and abbreviations.
