Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival brings you "Meet the Filmmakers" episode

The Official Selection – Competition film “The Muralist” is the World Premiere of a visually arresting Mongolian drama from director and screenwriter Sengedorj Janchivdorj, who returns to PÖFF after his film Silent City Driver won the Grand Prix last year. The film follows Bayaraa, an exiled painter who returns home to create a final, sweeping mural on an abandoned factory wall, a quiet and powerful meditation on memory, impermanence, and the personal wounds of his past.

Visuaalselt kütkestav linateos jälgib pagendatud maalikunstnik Bayaraad, kes naaseb koju, et luua mahajäetud tehase seinale viimane, haarav seinamaal, millest kujuneb vaikne ja võimas meditatsioon mälule, kaduvusele ja tema mineviku isiklikele haavadele.
