In his debut feature, Quentin Hsu quietly and intimately examines the pressures of present-day parenthood. It demonstrates how behind closed doors ambition, fear, and vulnerable family ties clash. “Admission” is a reminder of a universal truth: a child's future never just concerns the child, it also reflects the aspirations, anxieties, and fears of the parents. "Children can't run away from their parents," Quentin states in our interview.
