“Mira (JF)” is Marie Limkilde's debut feature-length film. Limkilde is also the director for “Akavet”, a Danish youth TV series, and has previously directed a few short films. She's been an assistant director for a Danish drama series called “Doggystyle”, and she's also worked on films such as “Danny's Doomsday” and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”.
"Mira (JF)" is a coming-of-age story about a creative twelve-year-old girl named Mira, who struggles with self-acceptance after her best friend Naja becomes best friends with the new cool girl in class. The script is an adaptation of Sabine Lemire's bestselling novel series "Mira".

“Tüdruk nimega Mira” on Marie Limkilde debüüt täispikk film. Limkilde on Taani noorte telesarja “Akavet” režissöör ning ta on olnud režisööri ka mõndadele lühifilmidele. Ta on töötanud abirežissöörina Taani draamasarjas “Doggystyle” ja filmides näiteks “Danny maailmalõpp” ja “Walter Mitty salajane elu”.
“Tüdruk nimega Mira” on lastefilm kaheteistaastasest tüdrukust nimega Mira, kellel on raskusi eneseaktsepteerimisega, pärast seda, kui ta parim sõber Naja saab parimateks sõpradeks uue ägeda klassiõega. Lugu on adaptsioon Sabine Lemire enimmüüdid romaanisarjast “Mira”.
