For the star citizen project we require some action scenes. So i was doing some RnD into how to approach them. This is the result of rendering a laser sprite using the saber plugin from Video Copilot. Then using a particle engine to use a light, connected to the ship, as an emitter. Add in some pew pew sound effects from Star Citizen and a couple of lens flares. Voila!

In Planetside 2 leaders are by far the most important and most unappreciated players. The truly great fights that the game advertises are created by these players. The best players in Planetside 2 are often the best leaders as they are the ones who can actually have an impact on a continental scale.

With many in the UEE senate arguing that expenses towards the UEE military are excessive and with Vanduul activity in the system greatly decreased. Dalynn Cross and Eddie Daniels are sent to Aremis, Vega II, to visit one of the planets military installations and document the base operations.

Letters From Vega is one of the most ambitious cinematic projects ever undertaken within the Star Citizen community with a complete production pipeline which includes full body and facial capture, the entire library of public Star Citizen game assets and one of the most highly talented casts ever assembled. I bit off far more than I could chew with this project and it was damn well worth if only for the huge amount of fun it was to make! I hope you can now enjoy it too.

A little description about what this is:
One of the shots requires a Gladius to pass through a shield and the coolest thing about sci-fi shields are scan lines when an object passes through them, like if you put your hand in a laser in a night club. Looks cool right?
So to do that I need a mask for the effect to follow. This isnt perfect but does the job, I rendered it to reduce load times in the next few stages.")
