A quick video of my Petter A1 and bitsa generator & lighting set.
The bitsa generator uses mostly stuff I had lying around - Lucas C40 Dynamo from a Triumph Herald, complete with vibrating points voltage regulator, 1944 Ammeter, 1965 Voltmeter, old Bakelite sockets and switches.........and a modern inverter.
Output voltages 5v (USB), 12v dc, 240v ac.
Doesn't kick out a vast amount of power but it'll run reliably all day, great for shows and also works well as a backup generator for our not so infrequent power cuts.
Sorry the video isn't up to the usual standard - I didn't use a tripod or really think about the footage I was going to take - there's even some terrible mobile phone footage (as Ave would say "focus you !!!!").
