The original Eheim canister filter now fully packed and ready to run as a mechanical and biological filter. Each Classic Series filter is packed with the following media: Ehfimech - Ceramic hollow bodies disperse water evenly and act as a coarse mechanical prefilter; Ehfifix - Added coarse mechanical prefilter; Ehfisubstrat - Highly porous filter material ideal for hosting large bacterial colonies.; Ehfisynth - Synthetic filterfloss for extra fine mechanical filtration. The bottom to top waterflow assures water will pass through all 4 layers of media for complete cleaning. Hermetically sealed silent motor for a long, maintenance free life. Double disconnect valves included for easy filter servicing.
