Welcome back to Jordan! We LOVE this country - such an incredibly beautiful and hospitable place. The first thing that came to Jordan was the chance to see Petra, and it was worth the wait! Even better, we got to see it twice, Petra by Night and Petra by day.
So which was better? Honestly that’s hard to say, they're different. Which feels like a cop out, but it’s true. By night is an experience, it feels special and private. By day is pure wow factor, the scale of the whole site of Petra comes into play and you get to really explore and see vastness of the location.
Reminder though, you do need to have a standard day ticket in order to also visit Petra by night!
