Ubud ATV tours are one of the most popular adventure activities in Bali, so after two weeks of cafés and beach clubs we finally did it on our last day. What followed was one of the most chaotic, broken, gloriously fun days of the entire trip.

Is it actually safe? Debatable. Every single time something went wrong a guide was on it within about a minute, but the whole thing is just absolute chaos and the bikes are old...but it's just all part of the Bali experience and we HIGHLY recommend it.

We booked a standard 60-minute tandem ATV tour, it goes through jungle, river crossings and caves in Ubud, then includes lunch. The tour ran closer to two hours though and from what we've been told, all the tour operators pretty much run the exact same kind of thing, including the chaos haha.
