FEBRUARY 21, 2007:
As I can remember, it was February 14th of 2007, …which was my 10th birthday in a new house I moved into a few days ago! It was a seemingly good time with my friends at the birthday party, playing games and eating cake. Since I was getting older, I pretty obviously thought that I could do cooler and more “big” things (like anyone else.) So I asked my parents if I could go and pull something of an all-nighter by myself, and since my parents didn't really care (unless I got into trouble or got kidnapped, of course), they allowed me to!
THIS is where the whole “super dangerous and creepy” incident comes in.
It was 10:00 pm or somewhere late, and I was watching iCarly or SpongeBob (via recordings on DVR or DVD recordings) when an odd PSA appeared after I finished all of them (could be live TV in the small screen during the TV guide.) If you didn't realize from the date and title of this blog, it's the Peter Pan Salmonella outbreak ad. It confused me for a second why it was playing so late in the night until the words almost immediately changed to “PEANUT BUTTER UPDATE” with the monotone voices cutting off. The text went as such, with no voices from before voicing over it:
