I spoke with Peter Cuneo about his new book 'Superhero Leadership: Ways to Lead with Courage, Strength, and Compassion', published by Skyhorse and available for purchase on February 3, 2026.
In only ten years, Cuneo the then Marvel Entertainment CEO, took the company from bankruptcy to a $4.5 billion sale to Disney in 2009, a transformation he describes as going zero to hero. It remains the largest corporate turnaround of the 21st century, and he is now sharing the lessons behind that success.
In the book, Cuneo breaks down the 28 essentials of what he calls superhero leadership and shows how leadership skills can be developed at any age.
