My Dragon coin is plated in 24K gold. The 24K gold plating is quite attractive. The process of plating something in gold is called "gilding." The gilded Dragon coins have a mintage of 50,000. The Perth Mint package their gilded Lunar coins in red boxes. I bought this coin when it was first released in 2012 for $60. This same coin is selling for $120 on APMEX.
