Last weekend, the eight national arts training organisations - ARTS8 - celebrated a weekend of creativity and collaboration hosted by the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA).
This year, the theme for the annual ARTS8 collaboration was ‘Perspective’. AFTRS was represented by Jacob Collings, a first year Master of Arts Screen, Documentary student, and Chanel Bocman, a Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production Year 3 student.
During the meetup, Jacob collaborated with the creatives from NICA, the National Institute of Dramatic Art, The Australian Ballet School, NAISDA Dance College, Flying Fruit Fly Circus, the Australian National Academy of Music and the Australian Youth Orchestra to produce this inspiring video about their craft. We are excited about the future – the arts truly are in good hands with such heartening creatives and performers!
