This challenge might not be overly clear on what exactly it entails, so I’ll clarify. I have to defeat Perfectheart itemless and Toastless, but every attack from Perfectheart has to be a moving attack, and every attack from the party has to be a dull attack.
In order to not end the challenge, Heart String on Kel lets me Snowball right away, and Mesmerize means Hero can always take the blow. The only time the challenge can end right away would be with the sing attack; whether the attack is a moving attack is determined before the emotion change for this attack specifically.
The challenge seemed daunting at first: all of her attacks do 1.5x the damage (or 2x if/when someone becomes ecstatic), and she takes 56% damage. However, I have a good setup by Mesmerizing and debuffing Perfectheart the first two turns, which makes her much more manageable.
The main thing I had to worry about was Observe, because it can trigger Perfectheart’s wrath attack. The move is impossible to survive, and I can’t effectively nuke her after triggering the move, meaning I just gotta get lucky. After that though, I’m good.
