Based off a video from user Detara. The presented challenge was deemed not possible, but this video proves that it is.

The general strategy is simple. Get as much sun early as possible, before you transition from sun producers and a Cattail to Gloom-shrooms and instants. Twin sunflowers early plus being frugal actually gives a solid buffer, along with Gloom covering for most zombies in all six lanes.
I'm aware that I messed up at 5:27. I'm too lazy to record this again, and it didn't affect the result of the challenge.
