Netplay guide:
- This build is ONLY for netplay. For normal local play, use the default build.
- Simulants are NOT supported.
- Clients (players that connect to the host) can't throw laptop guns, throw Dragons or cloak properly.
- Only combat is supported is supported, any other mode will desync.
- Ravine and Car Park causes desync.
1 - Download the latest build here: github.com/fgsfdsfgs/perfect_dark/tree/port-net?tab=readme-ov-file#download
2- Follow the instructions from GitHub to get your 1.1 .z64 NTSC ROM working
3- If you wish to host, you must do port forwarding for 27100 UDP, then get your public IP to share with others
4- Load your player from Combat Simulator to keep your settings / name / controls
5a- To join games go to 'Network Game' - 'Join Game' and paste the Host's IP
5b - To host games go to 'Network Game' - 'Host Game' and share your IP with others, keep it private if possible
6- Wait for your friends to join and play
