Percolator Geyser (2026)
Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is at the Yellowstone Hotspot Volcano in northwestern Wyoming, USA.
Percolator Geyser is a small feature in the Grand Group of the Upper Geyser Basin. The vent is located at 44° 27’ 59.36” North latitude, 110° 50’ 13.20” West longitude, about halfway between Grand Geyser and West Triplet Geyser. Eruptions can be brief to moderately long, often with pauses and near-pauses. Water-phase erupting is low to moderately low. As eruptions progress, somewhat noisy, steam-rich pulsing becomes common.
Clips with annoying hominid vocalizations have been muted.
