holy shit!!! we could barely find this venue online lol so we've agreed that meeting at the hotel would be easier which we did! from where they drove us to the venue around quarter past midnight. got to spend much more time chilling about this time, chatted bout tons .his set began and we spent the meantime to the left of the stage (from crowds perspective). absolutely smashed it!! really tight, energetic, he mentioned himself that he really likes mixing this way, no MC no visuals, taking it back to just him the music and the crowd. i've noticed some cool figures in the crowd, there was a lad up front with a budafuckingpest shirt really havin it clearly knew the things he's been playing, two (i think) long haired metalhead looking peeps smashing through the set quite some characters to the right as well, it was a wicked crowd. filmed some shoulder hops as well. hornet played our collab! can be heard @ 4:50 . sound quality is dodgy because ALL of the audio we've heard in the back were audio directed at the crowd, and my phone's mic is on its right side, so none of it hit us directly which meant the sound was brilliant where we were standing (contrary to that, hornet complained about the audio on the stage. i couldnt tell bc while we probably were allowed up there , we chose not to disturb him). i say 'we' because as usual i took annie with me who smashed it in the back started rinsing halfway in lol. a lot of banging tunes were played, he actually played self vs self, full pbn witchy remix, full watercolour matrix futurebound rmx, full bloodsugar prototypes remix, unreleased (demo) halftime edit of noisias hyc remix, tried to catch as many as i could for you guys. this was a 1hr30 long set and i managed to rip over a third of it haha! little info about me: i didnt mean to rip so much tbh! i wanted to record every decent moment, and there were so many lol. being honest i'm not a dancing about type,i found that i can't associate with the crowd's urge to jump about, so simply enjoying the soundspace, vibes , tunes,enjoying the spectation of a set not through a screen for once meant as much as enjoyment and excitiement to me as to everyone else there, trust me. ace times. we sat n chatted after the set as well, droplex was coming on after him but had a blackout maybe five minutes in (lol!!), after that we headed back to the hotel and parted ways. id say im speechless but not really ^^^^^^ im more like super glad we could do this again, i really like this not even because of the fact that we can attend a set from the back but because he's very cool to hang about with the man is full of interesting experiences he shares about. hopefully we can do this again next time he comes, it's been about 15 ish times he's been here so probably next year! thanks to all of you guys for tagging along with on this journey, all of this , next to also having a tune i've touched being played live (and me witnessing) really fulfill a lot of my younger desires, it's so hard to believe it's real but it is !!! stay cool lads, i'm going back for more sleep now i think Lol. the 'project' is on the way!!!!!
