In this art tutorial video I use my extensive art teaching experience to show beginners how to draw in pen and ink by learning basic techniques in a simple step by step approach. The art tutorial explains how to start drawing with pen and ink by looking at drawing with three different types of pen and concentrating on Line. The tutorial uses simple can shapes as an example of the ink drawings. I explain hatching and cross hatching and try to inspire people into being bold with the use of the pen, to produce different types of line and not to use rules lines.
Lines produced with an Edding pen, a dip pen and a sharpened stick are all explored. Each pen produces a different quality of line.The video is aimed at absolute beginners and those wishing to develop their drawing skills.
