Instructions for drawing lips. Learn to draw lips using this simple drawing technique. If you want to learn portrait drawing you'll need to learn how to draw a mouth convincingly, Sketching faces needs and understanding of proportion as well as a knowledge of how to draw lips simply. Lips look easy to draw, but when you understand how the shape of lips is determined by a number of interlocking circles. Once you understand how these circles work together you'll be able to draw lips on any type of face.
In this easy drawing tutorial, created using a Nikon D7100 camera, I show how How to Draw Lips, I explain how to start with just three circles and a curved line to create the line between the mouth. I take an easy to follow step by step approach to show how to add shading to create the final drawing of lips. This tutorial is aimed at beginners to portrait drawing and those looking to extend their drawing skills and drawing techniques.
