Meditation is great for everyone! It relieves stress, increases concentration and calms the mind.
This Pebble Meditation was developed by Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hanh. When I found his book "A Handful of Quiet", I was delighted and wanted to share it with you too! He has made this book for children but I found it perfect for when you need a quick relief and want to destress. You can use it by yourself or with your children. Just find a quiet place and relax with it.
I will also show you how to make a quick and easy pebble bag so you can always have your meditation pebbles handy.
I will walk you through the basics of this little meditation but this book has much more information for you.

Supply list for Pebble bag
-A Handful of Quiet - book by Thich Nhat Hanh
-4 pebbles, marbles, beads or whatever you have around
-2 pieces of fabric 9x9" (22.9x22.9cm)
-a round object to use to make an 8" (20.3cm) circle
-sewing pins
-sewing machine or you can sew by hand
-pen or pencil to draw your circle
-rotary cutter or sewing scissors
-cutting board if you are using a rotary cutter
-iron and ironing board
-embroidery thread or kitchen string
-a needle with a large eye and sharp end
-4 beads if desired
-a computer and printer if you want to print out the meditation verse
