Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom on Meta Quest 2: Maze Theory's interactive story with Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson.
Great environmental art, a two-hour fetch-and-walk story, and Gunplay that's half-assed at best.
Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom is Maze Theory's Quest 2 adaptation of the Epic gangster drama, with Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson reprising Tommy and Arthur. The environmental art direction is strong and the Garrison Tavern moment lands, but underneath it's a pre-Arkham-era IP cash-in: simplistic fetch quests, regenerating ammo crates, stiff character models, and a two-to-three-hour runtime. Omar signs off with a 5 - blunder - and admits he'd score lower if he weren't a fan of the show.
