This is a rant video which may upset fanbois, I've got tired of hearing the same old quest 2 hype comments and straight up lies in the ''rift or quest 2'' discussions.
''i see no latency'' ''theres practically no latency'' ''its as smooth as rift s'' ''its better than an index because it's higher res'' ''buy this over x headset''
something incredibly important is lost with quest 2 when used on PC and you can't possibly see it or experience it through youtube videos, content creators making silly noises in gameplay or upgrading your system to the latest and greatest, it's nothing to do with what the quest 2 is, its all about HOW it works which fundamentally causes a sub par experience, regardless of graphics or resolution which in my experience come second place after this very basic standard for PCVR.
