I finally, proudly present: My first proper edit of decent lenght in about 5 years! I cannot believe I actually managed to edit something this long and I'm SO proud of the result.
This video was started in early August and I did everything up to the end of the first chorus in one evening/sitting, ever since I've been trying to fill out blanks and fix mistakes and I decided it's finally time to let this thing see the light.
This will be my first time entering an AMV contest, too. I'm kinda of excited but also a bit scared so wish me luck? ^_^
This video can be seen as sort of a vent, I guess? This song meant a lot to me for quite some time now and I kind of want to use this video to remind everyone how important it is to stick up for yourself. You're not required to stay in a toxic friendship/relationship and you'll feel so much lighter if you let go of the people who bring nothing but negativity into your life. It might feel awful at first, but trust me, it's absolutly worth it.
This video is dedicated to the amazing PokeContestStudios because, Contestshipping. Duh.
Also to Dina, because it was her birthday a while ago and I didn't have time to make something for her - Happy late birthday Wifey! x3
Last but not least to Megan, because I was inspired to edit this after talking to her one night. Also I never dedicated anything to her so it's about time! xD
I also wanna thank everyone who helped me beta test and improve this video, I'm so thankful for all of your input! (And for finding that one repeating scene that I missed even after my 100th time rewatching this x_x)

I recently did some mep parts with Madoka and I was reminded how much I love this show and how much I love editing with it so I wanted to edit with it some more. And as we all know, I cannot edit long videos so theres that. :D

I have so much fun editing RAW lately, Im almost entirly out of effect editing because I enjoy RAW so much more right now. We all know I change my style every few months but just a heads up, dont expect much effecty stuff on here for a while!
Itd help not being lazy and get some good quality clips for once so my edits would look better but hey. xD

So yeah, Megan and me were planning this collab for a long time, but it took quite a while until we came up with this song. Welcome to the first FULL edit I’ve done in like 8 years or sth lmao.
I discovered this song through Mitzi’s beautiful AMV (which is also a full and I will like below) and ever since, I couldn’t get it out of my head for this ship. I know it’s a… very negative song by nature, but if you see it as a positive one, it suits them perfectly. They LITERALLY go through hell for one another okay?
I know this is.. very far from being my best edit, but I generally struggle with these types of songs , I lack experience with liveaction edits and my Vegas got so laggy at some point, it was impossible to fix things. So this is what my editing looks like when I don’t spent 5 iterations of rendering and fixing. Also, my style changed quite a bit while I was working on this, so it’s a bit messy and incoherent in parts, I’m super sorry about that. I do enjoy the ending tho, that worked out well at least.
Also, this took 4 hours to render. I cried. A lot. And my computer suffered.
Anyway, MALEC. Man, I love them so much. I loved them in the books (which I hate, but hey), and I love them so so much more in the TV show. You can’t imagine how many times I cried while watching it but.. I did lol. They broke my heart into so many pieces. And THAT ENDING. AAAAHHHH. It made me so happy.
Oh well, most importantly, this is a (VERY) late birthday present for one of the most wonderful people in my life.
HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY LILI. Im sorry this is so awfully late but I promised you, and here it is. Had my internet not been out for a month I wouldve been done quicker but heeey, I made it. Also I PROMISE one day I wont make heartbreaking edits for your birthday, but this year is not that year.
I... cant even begin to tell you how thankful I am for you. This year more than ever but.. always, honestly. I wrote you a long ass essay a while ago so lets just... imagine I write the same thing here bc Im tired and would end up in rambeling lol.
