Its nothing to do with Rhyperior.
This battle shows Regirock's potential. Its EVs are rather unusual (Impish, 252 HP, 252 Def) because I trained him to mainly switch in on physical attackers. With its EV spread, Regirock can withstand moves like Close Combat and Earthquake alot more easily and he can use Counter to finish them off. If this set won't work out, i will transfer the defense EVs into Sp. def instead.
Regirock did a good job in this battle, taking Earthquakes from Sharpedo... They kidnapped Venom! He also took Dynamicpunch from Machamp pretty well, considering it was from a Machamp and super effective.
