Churches and even entire denominations have different conceptions about what is missions, as well as how missionary work should be done. In our day, much of what passes as "missions" is not missions work at all; and much of what is done in the name of missions is not remotely tied to the Biblical model. As Pastor says in this message, methods may change over time; but the Biblical principles remain the same. This very doctrinal yet very practical message clearly demonstrates from the New Testament exact what the Biblical model of missions is so that each Christian can determine for themselves how their own local church's missions program matches up with the Biblical model. In these last days, every church should be seeking to line up as closely as possible with the Word of God.
