Paul Robeson, Rutgers' third black student, graduated from Rutgers College in 1919. One hundred years later Rutgers celebrates the centennial anniversary of Robeson's graduation and the impact that he had on both the university and the world. At the 2019 School of Arts and Sciences Convocation ceremony this video was played in remembrance of Robeson's achievements and his 1919 valedictory address.
