Zach Soricelli, School of Engineering '25, spent his summer of Rutgers Scarlet Service giving ecological tours for Pinelands Adventures. Soricelli says engineers must recognize "the importance of our natural ecosystems and the importance of sustainability." Rutgers Scarlet Service provides students paid summer internships and course credit at nonprofit organizations and government offices.
