Lori Montenegro was born in Cuba in 1959 and but was raised in Miami since infancy. With a love for journalism, Lori’s first job was at a rock music format radio station. She transitioned to local Spanish-language television and became the first Afro Latina Bureau Chief of a major Spanish language network, making decisions on the reporting and coverage of a myriad of political events and dedicated to bringing a national perspective on the news to the Latina/o community.
