Snapshot 15w38a corrected the glitchy collision box of fences, which broke the elegant item glass-elevator design by test137e29. This video is a follow up about a simple, redstone-less fix that is possible as of snapshot 15w38b. Recorded with Minecraft snapshot 15w38b.
Thanks to danywhoever for investigating and pointing out the north-south limitation. I had suspected problems with orientation, but I hadn't yet gotten around to testing.
