The fix for item elevators discussed in my previous videos will not work as of the next snapshot, due to its reliance on a bug that has since been corrected, according to Grum. The odd design shown in this video preserves the smooth flow of items up through the glass tower, at the expense of some unusual and particular (but assumed bug-free) game mechanics.
