When I was growing up, the steam locomotive that I now own was located only 5 miles away from me on a farm. The locomotive was moved near Devon Alberta only about eight years ago, and of course that’s where I bought it from. However, many of the important parts were still located out on the farm where the locomotive used to be for all those years. I was able to locate the crate where they were stored, and bring them home to start evaluating the work to be done on them.
