Here I share some information about why and how I took an 1866 Winchester, and modified it into a rifle that resembles a Transitional Henry, or a prototype 1866 (according to the patent). The main difference between this and a normal 1860 Henry is the loading gate. This particular rifle was made by Uberti, and chambered in 38-40.
