This is the third video in my series about restoring this 1925 Vulcan steam locomotive. This episode includes: lifting the locomotive off of its wheel sets, getting an old “London Machine Tool Company” lathe working, and machining the rear driving wheel set.

A special thank you to Abrasive Blast & Paint (Nisku Alberta) for the use of the crane, and for blasting and painting parts for the steam locomotive.
Thank you to Josh from Ridge Valley Machine for his help, along with Matt and Ryan.
Thank you to Samuel Corry for his work filming and lending a fun and helping hand in this video.
I had about 201 hours into this project before I started filming this video, and as of the end of October 2025, there are 346 hours.
