The Climate Connection Global Knowledge Exchange: Part 5 of 8 – The Climate Connection Higher Education Partnerships
This session at the Climate Connection Global Knowledge Exchange showcases some of the global partnerships convened and developed through The Climate Connection to advance the role of universities in responding to the climate crisis. This included a series of online roundtables in Australia, Egypt, Japan, Indonesia and South Africa bringing together stakeholders from higher education, research, industry, governments and civil society to share insights from collaborative climate research projects and explore core global climate action agendas for the HE sector in areas such as public engagement, knowledge exchange, skills development and internationalisation.
To discuss this work Susannah Morley, Head of Partnerships for the British Council in North East Asia is joined by the science journalist Nadia El-Alwady, who was the rapporteur for the roundtable series.
