By 2030, Africa will be home to 25 per cent of the world’s population aged under 25, yet the region continues to experience extremely high rates of youth unemployment.
With funding from our Going Global Partnerships programme, Liverpool John Moores University partnered with the University of Medical Sciences and Teenpreneurs Educational Foundation in Nigeria to launch an innovative new co-creation hub, where students can gain key employability skills and learn to become job creators.
Their partnership has engaged more than 1,300 undergraduates through training, workshops and mentorship and has supported new, innovative start-ups that are having real-world impact.
