Parsley is a non-releasable education ambassador temporarily boarding with me during a winter storm. She developed metabolic bone disease as a baby and is unable to survive in the wild. She gets a variety of veggies, plain yogurt, insects, and other treats, along with a special omnivore diet designed for zoo animals. Unlike some opossums she’s usually very good about carefully taking the food without biting fingers!
