I wanted to take a short video using my Parrot Bebop and Skycontroller and thought flying over the Tyger river and showing the Anderson Mill would be a good location. It is always clearer when you don't have to upload it to youtube, but it seems to have come out really nice. Parrot found a way to get very clear and stable video without the need to have a gimbal underneath. It is a very compact Quadcopter which makes it all the more surprising on the quality of the video. You can also along the way turn the video off or even push a button and take a photo. At the beginning of the video I included two of the still photos that were taken. Also there is a firmware and software update being released in the next few weeks which is supposed to add some nice enhancements. The skycontroller will hold either a small tablet or an Ipad which is really nice when trying to see what the Bebop is looking at. I will keep everyone updated once I have the opportunity to test the new software.
