A video I cut together from footage that my Dad took of my maiden flight of the Parkzone RAF (Royal Aircraft Factory) SE5a at the Redbourn Flyers site.
After only a dozen flights of my Wot4 from being an absolute beginner, I was worried that this biplane might be tricky for me to handle. Turns out it is actually easier to control than the Wot4 and was an absolute joy to fly!
With the low rate settings as stated in the instructions I dialed in 30% expos and programmed an aileron/rudder mix (as suggested in various reviews), after which the model only a required small amount of pitch trim in flight. The only difficulty I encountered was a tendency to nose-over on take off and landing. This may have been because the grass was a bit rough and because I was using a heavier 2300 battery rather than the 1800 that Parkzone recommends. I found that putting full elevator on for takeoff and similarly keeping full elevator and some throttle on until the end of the landing roll solved this problem.
